How to restore a backup with JetBackup 5

Shared hosting accounts are backed up every day, and backups are kept for 30 days. You can restore them yourself with JetBackup 5 in cPanel.

1. Log in to cPanel and open JetBackup 5.
2. Choose what to restore: Full Account Backups, Home Directory (files), Databases or Email.
3. Pick the date you want to go back to.
4. Select the items to restore and click Restore. You can follow progress in the queue.

Tips #

• Restoring files overwrites the current versions, so download a copy first if you are unsure.
• To restore a WordPress site fully, restore both its files and its database from the same date.
