# How to speed up WordPress with LiteSpeed Cache

Our servers run LiteSpeed, which works directly with the free LiteSpeed Cache plugin to serve pages much faster.

1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to **Plugins > Add New**.
2. Search for **LiteSpeed Cache**, then install and activate it.
3. Open **LiteSpeed Cache > Cache** and make sure caching is turned on.
4. Under **Page Optimization**, enable CSS and JavaScript minification, then check that your site still looks right.
5. Under **Image Optimization**, you can optimize images and enable lazy loading.

## Online stores

LiteSpeed Cache recognises WooCommerce and does not cache the cart, checkout or account pages, so shoppers always see their own basket.

## Tip

After changing settings, open your site in a private browser window to check that everything works as expected.
